Privacy Policy
How Westmore handles the information you choose to share with us. We collect the minimum needed to operate the service and to respond to your inquiry. This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions.

1. Who we are
Westmore is a private domain advisory and intelligence company operating as a principal, not a public retail brokerage. As set out in our Terms & Conditions, submitting an inquiry does not create a fiduciary, brokerage or agency relationship. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and the choices you have.
2. Information you provide
We collect the information you submit through our forms and tools.
- Contact form: an inquiry type, your name, email, an optional organisation, a subject and a message.
- Acquisition intake: the target domain(s), your name, email, and optional details such as organisation, region, intended use, a non-binding budget range, timing and additional context.
- Accounts and memberships: name, email and, where you set one, a password (stored only in hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile and email from Google.
- Workspace matters: any matters, documents and files you create or upload to a private workspace.
- We do not collect government identifiers, and we never ask for your full card details through these forms.
3. Payment and billing information
Payments (for example a start fee, a report or a membership) are handled by a third-party payment processor. Westmore does not receive or store your full card number. We keep limited transaction records — such as a reference identifier, amount, currency and status — to fulfil your purchase, provide receipts and support and to meet our record-keeping obligations.
4. Information collected automatically
To keep the service secure and reliable we log basic technical information such as IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, and timestamps. We do not build advertising profiles from this information.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies only, for session security and form integrity. We do not use advertising or third-party marketing trackers, we do not add you to marketing mailing lists from these public pages, and we do not use pre-checked marketing consent.
6. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the service and respond to you.
- Review and respond to your inquiries; each submission is stored with a non-sensitive reference identifier and an initial status of "New".
- Provide and authenticate accounts, memberships and private workspaces.
- Process payments, manage subscriptions and provide receipts and support.
- Coordinate acquisitions and settlements on a best-efforts basis where we take on an engagement.
- Secure, maintain and improve the reliability of the service, and comply with law.
7. Confidentiality of your inquiries
We treat your identity, your target domain and your interest as confidential. We do not disclose them except to our personnel and service providers on a need-to-know basis to respond to you, or where required by law. Any broader confidentiality obligation is governed by a separately executed non-disclosure agreement.
8. Your uploads and matters
Documents and evidence you upload to a private workspace remain private to that workspace. They are not added to any public corpus, are not used to train models, and are not shared with other users without your explicit authorisation.
9. AI assistants
When you use one of our automated assistants, your messages may be stored to provide a response, maintain your conversation and improve reliability. Please do not share sensitive personal, financial or confidential information in a chat that you would not want stored for that purpose. Assistant output is informational only, as described in our Terms & Conditions.
10. When we share information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only on a need-to-know basis with:
- Service providers who operate the service on our behalf — for example hosting, database, authentication and payment processing — each processing data only as needed to deliver its function.
- Authorised settlement partners — such as licensed financial institutions, registrars or third-party escrow services — where a transaction proceeds and their involvement is required to move funds or assets.
- Authorities or advisers where strictly necessary to comply with the law, including anti-money-laundering obligations or a court-ordered disclosure.
11. Independent activity
Consistent with our Terms & Conditions, Westmore and its affiliates may independently research, value or acquire domains and digital assets, including assets mentioned in an inquiry. We may use general market intelligence for our own account and are not obliged to disclose an ownership interest before a formal purchase agreement is executed.
12. Data retention
We retain inquiry records, related metadata and communication logs for at least twenty-four (24) months, to operate and support the service and to enforce the non-circumvention provisions in our Terms & Conditions. Account and workspace data are kept for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion as described below.
13. Security
We process sensitive data over encrypted channels and limit internal access on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Your rights and choices
You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal data you have provided, or to remove an inquiry you submitted, by contacting us through the contact page and referencing your submission. Where you signed in with Google, you can also manage that connection from your Google account.
15. International users
Westmore operates from, and may process and store data in, the jurisdiction in which it operates. By using the site and submitting information, you understand your information may be processed there.
16. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service develops; material changes will be reflected here with a revised "last updated" date. Questions about privacy can be sent through the contact page, referencing "Privacy Policy".
